These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TasteBuds mobile application (the “App”), operated by TasteBuds (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

To use TasteBuds, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and truthful account information
• Comply with these Terms and applicable laws

If you do not meet these requirements, you may not use the App.

To access the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree not to share your account or impersonate another person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

• Public account: Your profile, photos, and reviews are visible to all users.
• Private account: Your photos and reviews are visible only to users you approve as friends.

You can change your account visibility at any time in the App settings.

5.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of any photos, reviews, comments, or other content you upload (“User Content”).

5.2 License to TasteBuds

By uploading User Content, you grant TasteBuds a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App for the purpose of operating, moderating, and improving the service.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive reviews
• Upload illegal, abusive, hateful, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users
• Manipulate ratings, reviews, or engagement
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers)
• Reverse engineer or attempt to exploit the App

TasteBuds encourages users to report content or behavior that violates these Terms. We may review, remove, or restrict reported content and take action against the account responsible.

TasteBuds allows users to share personal opinions and experiences. We do not verify or guarantee the accuracy of user-generated reviews and are not responsible for opinions expressed by users.

All rights, title, and interest in the App, including branding, design, software, and logos (excluding User Content), belong to TasteBuds. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our intellectual property without prior written permission.

9.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time directly through the App settings.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, your activity poses a risk to other users, we receive reports of violations, or we are required to do so by law.

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee the App will always be available or error-free, that content will be accurate, or that listed restaurants will meet your expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TasteBuds is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, revenue, or reputation, or user-generated content or third-party actions.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you through the App or other appropriate means. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
